McDADE
John is along time friend and devout admirer of Carl (Fontana) the incomparable artist and the truly wonderful gentleman. John McDade is a trombonist, and a jazz trombone record collector, and according to Carl Fontana and Kai Winding, who have visited him at his home several times, he has the largest jazz trombone collection in the world.
He would enjoy hearing from other of Carl's friends and admirers and sharing memories and sounds of this wonderful genius. (John had sent me lots of recordings with all the recordings from Carl Fontana, Frank Rosolino, Urbie Green, and others ~ Rene Laanen) |
